Colva Beach

The oldest, largest, and spectacular South Goan beaches are Colva Beach. Se Cathedral

Historically, in 1510, on the feast day of St. Catherine of Alexandria, Alfonso Albuquerque defeated the Muslim army and took possession of Goa. This imposing church began in 1562 and was substantially completed in 1619 during the reign of King Dom Sebastiao.

Reis Mogos Fort

The Reis Magos Fort is located on the northern bank of the river Mandovi across from Panji town in North Goa, 7 km from the Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 34 km from the Vasco Da Gama Railway Station, and 15 km from Mapusa. This fort is one of the most important Goa tourist spots and one of Goa’s most important heritage sites.

Built-in 1551 and rebuilt in 1707 by Portuguese Viceroy Alfonso de Noronha. The defense of Goa against the Marathas was an important factor in 1739. Originally built by the Adil shah at the end of 1400, it was an armed outpost and was destroyed in 1500. The Portuguese used this fort initially as a shelter for the viceroys and dignitaries from Lisbon. But Portuguese gradually realized how strategic this fort was and used it to shelter the Maratha armies.

River Cruise – Mandovi River

Anjuna Beach

Anjuna Beach is located in Bardez Taluka, North Goa, 19 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand and 11 km from Mapusa. It’s situated north of Baga and Calangute, near Vagator and Chapora south. A unique arrangement is made by the white sands of the beach and the red rocks. It’s one of Goa’s best beaches.
